Beach Plum. Plumb Beach (sometimes spelled "Plum") is a beach and surrounding neighborhood along the north shore of Rockaway Inlet, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Description General: Beach plum is a native, flowering, often multi-stemmed shrub Beach plum (Prunus maritima).
